She also recorded Over It for the soundtrack of the Disney Channel Original Movie Stuck in the Suburbs. Van der Pol recorded R&B/pop renditions of The Lion King's Circle of Life, and Cinderella's Dream Is a Wish You Create for the release of a special edition of these films with The Disney Channel Circle of Stars. In 2006, she recorded an original cover of the classic Disney track Candle on the Water from Pete's Dragon to be used in an edition of Disneymania. In her role on Broadway as Belle van der Pol, she composed a number of songs that were heard in the music of the musical, like A Change in Me.
